We are in the midst of the information age.  Do you want to “learn” how to improve customer service in your business.  Just type the phrase into Google and you will find 58.9 million examples of how to do it.  Does this mean you now know how to do it? Well, no!

The Internet has made access to knowledge widely available but there is a difference between knowing something intellectually and actually being able do do it. True knowledge shows competence and competent people deliver results.  For example how do you know when you know how to ride a bike or drive a car?  You know when you can ride the bike and drive the car – you can prove it.  The only true measure of effectiveness is found in the results you deliver.  Effectiveness is based on results.

Do you know how to have Customer Service that differentiates you from your competition?  If you don’t actually have Customer Service that differentiates your business from your competition then you don’t know how to do it?  You may have a plan and be in the process of executing the plan but until you actually achieve the results your are still guessing.  Once you have the results, then you actually “know”.
